When you need to use your Travel Guard Insurance Policy

Sports Equipment Coverage
$2,500 Sports Equipment & Personal Effects Loss: Can reimburse you if your Baggage is lost, stolen, or damaged while on your Trip, subject to the Maximum Benefit. This coverage is in excess of any other coverage or indemnity.
$1,500 Sports Equipment Delay: If your Baggage is delayed more than 12 hours, you can be reimbursed for the purchase of Necessary Personal Effects, subject to the Maximum Benefit.

Evacuation – Medical Transportation Benefit
Call Travel Guard when you need to have the evacuation benefit executed. It is vital to have Travel Guard involved from the start when it comes to your evacuation coverage. Travel Guard will get you, the policyholder, through the whole evacuation process without a penny coming out of your pocket.
Special Limitation: In the event Travel Guard could not be / is not contacted to arrange for emergency transportation, benefits are limited to the amount the Insurer would have paid had the Insurer or their authorized representative been contacted.
