Through Clements Term Life insurance, expatriates can now acquire the needed coverage to protect their family’s financial security either as a primary policy or supplemental coverage to an existing policy. This plan is underwritten through certain underwriters at Lloyds of London.

Coverage Details

The following provides a summary of Clements Worldwide Term Life Insurance. It illustrates the minimum level of insurance our policy provides.

Eligibility Program is available to professionals working and living outside of their country citizenship, regardless of nationality.
Worldwide Coverage Worldwide “Death All Causes” coverage available in broad range of countries

“Natural Causes Only” coverage available in high risk locations, i.e. - Iraq and Afghanistan
Policy Term 1 to 10 year terms
Residency Conditions
  • If an insured permanently returns to their country of citizenship, for a period longer than 6 consecutive months they must notify us / Clements underwriters. Your policy may be reviewed and policy terminated depending on length of stay in their country of residence.
  • Insured's will be covered for vacations or infrequent trips to their country of citizenship.
  • Do talk to one of our agents at Good Neighbor Insurance if you will be spending a longer time back in your country of citizenship.
Coverage Starts / The Effective Date
  • Coverage can only start when the insured is leaving for their destination.
  • For U.S. citizens - starts the day you leave the U.S. / the day you are outside of the U.S., or as we like to call it “wheels up.”
  • Non U.S. citizens may also apply. The effective date is the day you are outside of your country of citizenship, or as we like to call it “wheels up.”
Maximum Limit Maximum coverage is 5x insured’s annual salary up to 1,000,000 USD Lifetime Coverage.
Age Limits Coverage is available for applicants 18 years of age up to age 65
Evidence of Insurability Medical questionnaire and/or physical may be requested depending on applicant’s health history, and insured sum selection.

We can utilize any medical information or tests that have been carried out within 90 days of the application.

Taxes: A 2% E&S tax will be applied to all policies
