ATLAS INTERNATIONAL TRIP INSURANCE TO INCLUDE ADVENTURE SPORTS MEDICAL COVERAGE
The Optional Hazardous Sports Rider is available for the adventurous traveler. For an additional 20% premium, this Rider adds coverage for the Amateur sports listed below.
- Add the sports rider option to eliminate height restrictions for activities (trekking, climbing, etc.) above 4500 meters
- Please add the sports rider option if you are participating in a climbing program
- Mountaineering where ropes or guides are normally used
- Aviation (except when traveling solely as a passenger in a commercial aircraft)
- Hang gliding, skydiving, parachuting or bungee jumping
- Snow skiing or snowboarding, except for recreational downhill and/or cross country snow skiing or snowboarding (no cover provided whilst skiing away from prepared and marked in-bound territories and/or against the advice of the local ski school or local authoritative body); and Racing by any animal or motorized vehicle
- Spelunking
- Sub-aqua pursuits involving underwater breathing apparatus
- Jet skiing
- You have to get to any medical facility in order to get evacuated to the nearest best medical hospital or medical facility
- Any other sport or athletic activity which is undertaken for thrill seeking and exposes the Member to abnormal or extraordinary risk of Injury.

SHORT TERM TRAVEL INSURANCE TO INCLUDE ADVENTURE SPORTS COVERAGE - RESCUE ONLY (NO SEARCH)
- No restrictions on hazardous sports (except motorsports)
- No deductible, period
- Unlimited medical and evacuation coverage
- Additional non-medical option and trip cancellation option also if desired
- Covers worldwide outside policy holder country of residence
- The Worldwide Health Options provides coverage for hazardous sports or occupations, therefore these sports or occupations do not have to be done solely for leisure, recreational, entertainment or fitness. For example a professional surfer, would be covered for surfing, another example a pilot or someone learning to fly would also be covered.
